- We've been busy Christmas shopping
- Alex is a pill
- It's cold
- We lost power for 12ish hours last Wednesday night and became squatters for a night
- We are trying to convince Alex that "one, two, six, eight", while cute, is incorrect
- We'd rather drink
- Alex outgrows her shoes every two days necessitating mas shopping
- We went to Suttons Bay for the weekend and drank too much wine
- We're not sure anybody still reads this thing
- We're lazy
Hopefully we can get back in the swing moving forward... what have you been up to?

I want to assure you that I have checked your blog regularly and have been very disappointed not to see any new postings about Miss Alexandra, you and Michele. I need my fix man so get back on the job.

WHOA! I still read this post. After a long day or week, when I can't sleep at 4am. When I need to go to bed but want to delay a little while longer. I read the post. I read it and then Ryan reads it. We love it. Please don't stop. Just think of your grandkids reading this post and getting to hear all about their Mom and grandparents and their little sad faces when there's a gap in the story of Alex, Gramps and Gran.
